Winter Recreation Counselors Needed In Tredyffrin

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Winter recreation counselors are needed in Tredyffrin Township and interested parties can apply now.

The township's Parks and Recreation Department is hiring temporary employees for the Winter Recreation program.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old, enthusiastic, enjoy large group games, and have experience with children between the ages of 5 to 12.

You must be free on Saturday mornings Dec. 7, 2019 to Feb. 22, 2020.

Counselors are required to provide valid PA Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Federal Criminal History Records. These clearances are required for any position involving interaction with children.

The Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) application can be submitted online.

Once you enter the website, you will be directed to the Child Welfare Portal where you must create an account or log in if you already have an account. You will need an email address to create an account.

The FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114) - for volunteers who have lived in Pennsylvania for less than 10 years.
