Aggravated Assault, Weapons Charges In W. Whiteland Twp.
West Whiteland police charged a woman with aggravated assault involving a deadly weapon, and other charges in an incident Saturday night.
WEST WHITELAND TOWNSHIP, PA — A woman faces two aggravated assault charges as well as two counts of simple assault and other charges after an assault in West Whiteland Township Saturday night, according to police.
West Whiteland Township Police responded to the incident at 10 p.m. on May 8 that ended in felony charges for Jennifer A. Deluca, 41, of Exton.
Court records state the first-degree felony charge is that of Aggravated Aggravated; assault with attempts to cause serious bodily injury or causing injury with extreme indifference. A second-degree felony charge is Aggravated Assault; assault with attempts to cause, or causing, bodily injury with a deadly weapon.

Deluca also faces a second-degree misdemeanor charge of recklessly endangering another person, and two first-degree misdemeanor charges of simple assault, according to court documents.
West Whiteland Township Police Det. Scott Pezick said no further details were being provided because of the nature of the case and to protect victims.

Additionally, Deluca faced two summary offenses of harassment, subjecting another person to physical contact.
Deluca posted $5,000 in bail, according to court documents.
