Yard Debris Dumped on Roadside in Easttown Again

Police are investigating who left piles of yard waste along Twinbrook Road in Berwyn.

Easttown Police are once again investigating the illegal dumping of yard waste on a township road. On Thursday, police received a report that someone had dumped debris during the day along Twinbrook Road in Berwyn.

"I found three piles today along Twinbrook," Easttown Police Sgt. Mike Sesher said in an email Friday. "They were all small pieces, likely from bushes and plants."

In December, larger pieces of debris—including tree stumps and branches—were littered throughout at least eight Easttown roads. Police questioned a person of interest at the time, but no charges were filed and the incidents stopped, until this week.

The culprit could be someone doing landscape work nearby, according to Sesher. Anyone with information about the illegal dumping is asked to contact police at 610-687-3000 or by email at police@easttown.org.
