You Can Help Fire Victims Friday

Homecooked in Paoli and Penn Liberty Bank in Malvern serving as donation points but please read this important information before bringing items.

Since a devastating fire destroyed their home on Tuesday morning, the Duffy family of Malvern has been receiving numerous offers of help.  Patch and T&E Care have also been contacted by many, many kind people offering to help this family (of a mom, dad, two-and-a-half year old daughter and grandmother).

Today there are two donation points available for very specific needs.
In addition to the previously announced drop off for monetary and diaper donations only at Homecooked in Paoli there is now a second alternative drop off point in Malvern.

Please read the following details about donations carefully before bringing items.

Donate Gift Cards/Cash/Checks/Diaper & Wipes Friday until 5 p.m. at Homecooked in Paoli

There will be a donation collection drive on Friday at Homecooked in Paoli.
Please note: This is to collect diapers/diaper wipes for the family's two-and-a-half year old girl (size 4) and cash, checks, and retail gift cards only.

It is very important to note that only diapers (and wipes), gift cards, cash or checks can be accepted at Homecooked in Paoli on Friday.  The reason for the limited donations list on that day is that the family is still working on finding a new place to live and there simply is no place for them to store any other donations from the Homecooked donations.

Gift cards, and cash that can help them purchase necessities as needed are the most pressing and immediate need.

A second donation point for VERY SPECIFIC items will be available from 1-5 p.m. in Malvern.

Family friends and some generous local businesses have arranged the drop off.
