2,000 Without Power In Upper Dublin And Abington After Storm

Breaking: Dangerous winds and torrential rain have led to power outages around the region, especially Abington and Upper Dublin.

UPPER DUBLIN, PA — Dangerous winds and torrential rain have led to power outages around the region, including more than a thousand in Upper Dublin and several hundred in Abington Township.

The storm brought strong winds, torrential rains, and hail, causing damage to power lines and accidents on many area roads.

Restoration times varied from 11:4o a.m. to noon, to unknown.

There were 1,241 outages in Upper Dublin and 715 in Abington as of 11 a.m.

Montgomery County had 2,100 outages in total as of 11 a.m.
