Upper Dublin Car Show Cancer Benefit Slated for July 10
The 4th annual custom car show will take place in Fort Washington Saturday. The event is geared to help breast and ovarian cancer patients.
FORT WASHINGTON, PA — If you like cool cars and are also down for helping a worthwhile charitable cause, you may want to consider checking out the 2021 Muscle Up Car Show taking place this coming weekend in Fort Washington.
The event, dubbed “Muscle Up Against Cancer,” is the 4th annual car show of its kind.
It will be held this Saturday, July 10, at 475 Virginia Drive in Fort Washington.

This year’s fundraiser will benefit Unite for Her, which is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting those women suffering from breast and ovarian cancers, by funding and providing integrative therapies, such as nutrition, acupuncture, massage, yoga and counseling.
According to its website, Unite for Her was founded in 2009 with a mission of offering love and support to those in the community suffering from breast and ovarian cancers, with support coming in the form of access to comprehensive education, services and tools that help to enrich health and overall well-being of those suffering from the diseases.

The car show will open up at 7:30 a.m. with early entry for preregistered participants (preregistration has since been closed), with general registration commencing at 8 a.m.
Kids activities will kick off at 8 a.m. and an opening ceremony is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. Trophies, awards and raffles will be taking place around 1 p.m. An assortment of food vendors are scheduled to be on hand offering food and refreshments.
In addition to participants showing off their custom vehicles, event organizers are also seeking volunteers, sponsors and donations.
According to organizers, funds raised from this year’s car show will help start a new wellness passport program at a yet-to-be-named local hospital.
The cost to register a vehicle in the car show is $15 and T-shirt costs are $20.
