The 25-acre development will feature 402 apartments, a resort-style pool, walking trails linking a nearby park, and retail space.

UPPER DUBLIN, PA — A massive new $120 million development is on the way to Upper Dublin.
The 25-acre development, named "The Promenade at Upper Dublin," will feature 402 luxury apartments, a resort-style pool, walking trails linking a nearby park, a bike share, and retail space.
Construction on the project at Dreshertown and Welsh roads is expected to be completed in late 2020.

“Although the sheer size and complexity of the project would typically carry a longer schedule, we used our BIM technology and project planning to fast-track the schedule and compress it to under two years of construction, with early occupancies in less than eighteen months," Mike Ryan, IMC Construction’s Vice President of Preconstruction, said in a statement.
Retail is slated for the ground floor, with four levels of apartments above. A fitness room, dog wash, and doggie day care will also be included. The garage will be large enough for 500 vehicles.

A "green roof" will be built on a part of one building to improve stormwater management, organizers said.
