13 Inches of Snow Already Reported Near Upper Dublin

There is already more than 14 inches of snow on the ground in Upper Dublin, and the storm is forecasted to last at least another 12 hours

There is already more than 13 inches of snow on the ground throughout much of Montgomery County, including up to 18 in some areas, and the storm is forecasted to last at least another 12 hours.

Social media reports from “snow spotters” and fire officials indicated that municipalities across the county had received about 13 to 14 inches before 7 a.m., with snowfall continuing to come down throughout the morning.

Snow drifts were piling up to four feet.

Chester County’s Emergency Operations Center reports the storm will reach upwards of 30 inches in the area.

Snow is expected to continue through Sunday morning. Residents are asked to stay off the roads and avoid travel.
