7.9 Acre Luxury Senior Living Community Coming To Upper Dublin

An indoor pool, fitness center, yoga studio, bars, theaters, garden, art studio, and more will highlight the brand new 156-unit community.

UPPER DUBLIN, PA — A new 7.9 acre senior luxury living community is coming to Upper Dublin at the former location of St. Mary's Villa.

Sage at Mattison Estate will break ground at some point this month, and is set to open in spring of 2021.

The four-story, Class A community will focus on "holistic aging," officials said. It will feature 156 independent living units, 62 assisted living units, and 32 memory care units.

Apartments will be available to lease in spring of 2020.

"We are excited to bring upscale senior living to the dynamic growth of Upper Dublin Township," Joel Sherman, Chief Investment Officer for South Bay Partners, Inc., said in a statement. "We believe there is tremendous demand for upscale, amenity-rich rental senior housing in suburban infill locations. The community will offer an active, engaged lifestyle to the seniors of Upper Dublin Township and neighboring communities."

The original estate home at St. Mary's Villa, Lindenwold Castle, will be preserved. The new community is opening up shop beside it.

The facility will offer various amenitities, including an indoor pool, fitness center, yoga studio, multiple bars and lounges, two theaters, an outdoor garden, dog wash and dog run, art studio, indoor and outdoor dining venues, courtyard areas with barbeque grills, fire pits, seating areas, a putting green, and more.

The property is located on the 700 block of S. Bethlehem Pike. It will be convenient to downtown Ambler and Spring House, both within 2.5 miles.

Sage Life has five other communities in the area, including Kyffin Grove in nearby North Wales.
