7-Year-Old Girl Struck And Killed By Vehicle In Upper Dublin: Police

A 7-year-old girl has passed away after being hit by a car Tuesday in Montgomery County.

A vehicle struck two pedestrians in Upper Dublin on Monday night, leading to the death of a 7-year-old girl, police said.

Her father, 38, was also hit by the car but survived the incident, according to authorities.

The incident occurred on the 700 block of Susquehanna Road at around 7:45 p.m. Monday in the Ambler section of Upper Dublin Township.

The girl was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where she passed away, police said.

The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with authorities.

An investigation is ongoing. Upper Dublin police are joined by the Montgomery County Detective Bureau.
