Breaking: An armed man broke into an Upper Dublin home on Sunday morning and fired a shot when he was confronted by the homeowner.

UPPER DUBLIN, PA — An armed man broke into an Upper Dublin home on Sunday morning and fired a shot when he was confronted by the homeowner, authorities said.
The incident occurred at around 7:22 a.m. on the 500 block of Madison Avenue.
The suspect, described only as a heavy-set man, broke into an unlocked car in the driveway of the home, found a remote control to open the garage door, and then entered the garage.

Once inside, the owner of the home confronted the suspect, and he fled. As he ran, he fired one shot.
No one was injured during the incident.

The man ran to a late 2000s Ford Expedition, colored black and tan, police said.
