Bucks County's Aria Health Highlights Stroke Awareness Month

Bucks County’s Aria Health is promoting National Stroke Awareness Month in May with a public outreach and education effort.

800,000 Americans suffer from a new or recurrent stroke each year, experts from Aria Health say.

They identify stroke as the number four cause of death in the world.

Dr. Brian Kelly, Director of Neurology at Aria Health, says that lifestyle adjustments are needed to prevent stroke.

These include daily exercise, not smoking, improving your diet, and developing a close working relationship with your primary care physician.
