Dresher Native Wins Big East Scholar-Athlete Sports Excellence Award

According to a press release from Villanova University, Dresher native and Upper Dublin alumnus Samuel Ellison recently earned a BIG EAST Scholar-Athlete Sports Excellence Award for his accomplishments in both athletics and academics. 

Ellison, a junior at Villanova, is a member of the Wildcats track and field team. He earned three All-American honors and repeated at the outdoor 800 meters champion. 

Ellison is also a seven-time All BIG EAST performer in athletics and a repeat BIG EAST All-Academic Team member.

Ellison is majoring in Communications.
