Fort Washington Company Accused of Using Applicant Tracking Hiring System
A former Fort Washington-based Research Pharmaceutical Services Inc. executive claims he was fired for raising objections to alleged hiring practice.

The Fort Washington-based Research Pharmaceutical Services Inc. is being sued by a former employee for allegedly being fired over objecting to the company’s hiring practice.
According to www.modernhealthcare.com, Joseph Brennan served as a chief information officer for the company from June 2010 – 2012. He said he was fired after objecting to the company’s alleged hiring practice that involved an applicant tracking system, which collected and analyzed personal details of potential employees, including sexual orientation, religion and political views, to be placed accordingly.
The article states that Brennan found out about the tracking system through a December 2011 audit of the company’s privacy practices, and reportedly made his objections known, despite allegedly being warned by the company to not divulge information about the tracking system to regulators.
