Germantown Academy Senior Honored by the College Board

Shelby Kuehnle, a resident of Huntingdon Valley, was honored by the College Board as a National Hispanic Scholar.

Germantown Academy senior Shelby Kuehnle has been recognized by the College Board as a 2018-19 National Hispanic Scholar.

Each year, the National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) honors more than 7,000 academically outstanding Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the PSAT/NMSQT. Approximately 250 of the top-scoring PAA students from Puerto Rico are also included. To be eligible, students must be at least one-quarter Hispanic/Latino (based on the program's definition) and achieve a minimum PSAT/NMSQT score for their region. Students with a cumulative junior year grade-point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher are designated as Scholars.
