Lansdale Holiday Events Schedule

Here’s everything you need to know for the holiday season across the borough, courtesy of Lansdale’s official website:

Tree Lighting
Friday, December 4th @ 6:00 pm - Railroad Plaza.
The annual festivities will begin at 6:00 pm in Railroad Plaza. Holiday music will be performed by the North Penn High School Chorus along with free refreshments being served courtesy of Clemens Food Group and Balford Farms. Old St. Nick will arrive at 6:30 pm to lead the Christmas tree lighting countdown. This year, after the tree lighting, visit with Santa in the “Santa House” or head over to the Lansdale Library to take in “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”.

Merry TubaChristmas Concert
Sunday, December 6th @ 1:15 pm - Railroad Plaza.
A Sunday afternoon in Railroad Plaza filled with the sounds of seasonal music. The North Penn Brass Ensemble will perform at 1:15 pm with the TubaChristmas concert at 2:00 pm. TubaChristmas features sixty or more of the most talented tuba, sousaphone, and euphonium players in the area. TubaChristmas is a must attend event for young and old alike! Inclement weather location: St. John’s United Church of Christ, 500 W. Main Street.

Menorah Lighting
Sunday, December 6th @ 6:00 pm - Railroad Plaza
Join us in Railroad Plaza on the first night of Hanukkah for the lighting of the menorah. The Horns of Hanukkah will perform.

A Charlie Brown Christmas Concert
Monday, December 21st @ 7:00 pm - Penndale Middle School
Join us as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of A Charlie Brown Christmas. The Eric Mintel Quartet performs Charlie Brown jazz celebrating the music of A Charlie Brown Christmas and the music of Vince Guaraldi. Hear classics like Skating, Christmas is Coming, Greensleeves, the legendary Linus and Lucy, plus much more. An evening of fun family entertainment. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Santa House
Santa will visit with guests throughout the holiday season at his house on West Main and Madison Street across from Railroad Plaza. The Santa House will be open December 5th through December 19th during the following hours:

• Thursdays - 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
• Fridays - 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
• Saturdays - 10:30 am - Noon

Holiday Christmas Tree Display

December 4th through December 19th
Join the Lansdale Business Association for a celebration of the holiday season with a tour of personalized tree displays representing the many individuals that make the unique business community of our town. Get a sneak preview during the Mardi Gras parade on Saturday, November 21 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and visit throughout the holiday season during the following hours:

• Fridays - 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• Saturdays - 10:00 am - 1:00 pm & 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
