More Than 500 Upper Dublin PECO Customers Without Power
Breaking: The snowstorm led to hundreds of power outages in Upper Dublin as of early Thursday afternoon.
UPPER DUBLIN, PA — More than 500 PECO customers are without power in Upper Dublin, according to outage maps at 2:15 p.m. Thursday.
Heavy snow around the region caused heavy traffic, "hundreds" of accidents, and at least 1,288 outages across Montgomery County. A total of 526 of those were in Upper Dublin.
That's about five percent of all of PECO's customers in Upper Dublin

Restoration times vary from 4:30 p.m. to 6:40 p.m. or much later. Some outages give a specific cause, which is usually downed trees or tree limbs.

Municipalities with significant totals include:
- Upper Dublin: 526
- Abington: 380
- Springfield: 282
- Cheltenham: 96
Nearby Bucks, Chester, and Delaware counties have combined for a total of 20 outages, thus far.
