- Backpacks
- Bags including diaper bags, purses and string bags
- Banners (unless approved in advance by stadium management)
- Bicycles (except for Police and EMS personnel)
- Cameras larger than 8-1/2” x 11” x 11”
- Containers, including cans/bottles/coolers/flasks
- Food l Noisemakers (whistles, sirens, etc.)
- Objects that may become projectiles
- Objects that obstruct the view of other fans
- Pets (except animals to assist disabled guests)— Advanced notification is requested
- Poles, sticks (except canes to assist disabled guests)
- Stadium chairs (chairs with backs) except those without pockets that can be rolled up
- Strollers
- Television sets other than handheld devices
- Tripods
- Umbrellas l Weapons, fireworks, laser pointers
Parking Information
Pre-paid parking/traffic assistance passes also offer a significant discount and access to closer stadium lots than day of game passes.
All fans are strongly encouraged to buy pre-paid parking/traffic assistance passes with your season tickets or no later than ten days prior to the game by calling 1-800-NITTANY (1-800-648-8269) or by visiting the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Center, Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Display pre-paid parking/traffic assistance passes prior to arrival to assist with sorting of vehicles.
Fans arriving from the West via U.S. 322 SHOULD USE I-99. Arriving via Interstate 80 fans should take Exit 158 and follow Route 150 South to Route 26 South. Fans arriving from the East should take Exit 161 to Route 26 South or U.S. 220 South.
Persons without pre-paid parking/traffic assistance passes should follow the football directional signs from their route of arrival. Parking fee payment will be made at the lot entrance. Parking for day of game sales is in the farthest lots from the stadium.
Tailgaiting Rules
- The following activities and items are prohibited when tailgating events at Beaver Stadium:
- Consumption of alcohol in the lots while the game is in progress
- Amplification of sounds
- Behavior that interferes with other guests’ enjoyment of the event, including threatening and abusive language, fighting, kicking, wrestling, etc.
- Breaking the ground plane by driving stakes or anchors, digging, trenching, etc.
- Distributing handbills or pamphlets
- Infringing on another guest’s area while tailgating. This includes throwing of objects.
- Parking in a space or area designated as no parking or reserved parking
- Picketing or political campaigning
- Possession and consumption of alcohol in parking areas not in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth
- Saving parking places
- Solicitation, promotion, or sales unless authorized by Intercollegiate Athletics prior to game day
- Advertising banners or displays, balloons, tethered blimps and other oversized inflatables (unless authorized by Intercollegiate Athletics)
- Bicycles (except Police and EMS personnel), in-line skates, scooters, skateboards, motorized bikes, motorized coolers, or carts other than those used by disabled patrons
- Drones/UAVs – The use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV’s/Drones) at Beaver Stadium and the surrounding areas is prohibited. University Policy in conjunction with the 4.5 mile flight radius of the University Park Airport does not allow for the use of these aircraft.
- Fires—Charcoal or wood fires of any type are prohibited l Portable heaters with visible flames.
- Glass bottles or containers in grass parking areas
- Golf carts and gators (except Stadium Operations personnel)
- Kegs of beer or beverage alcohol
- Weapons, fireworks
