Police at a department in Montgomery County are urging members of the public to dispose of a "dangerously addictive substance."

Police at a department in Montgomery County are urging members of the public to dispose of a "dangerously addictive substance": Girl Scout cookies. Citizens can drop cookies off at the department 24 hours a day.

Upper Dublin police say that they will safely dispose of the cookies.

The announcement was made on Upper Dublin's Facebook page Wednesday.

"Please refer to the identification chart above for their common street names," the announcement states.

Police boast that they even have a disposal expert, Officer Bochanski, on hand at the station.

"Officer Bochanski will see that they are eaten, um, disposed of promptly."
