St. Alphonsus CYO Baseball Getting Ready

St. Alphonsus CYO baseball volunteers spent a recent early Saturday morning helping to prepare the their field for the upcoming season.

Volunteer parents and players from St. Alphonsus Parish's CYO baseball team spent their Saturday morning, March 16, preparing the baseball field in front of the church in Maple Glen.

According to Neil Fitzpatrick, St. Alphonsus CYO baseball coordinator, this is the second year the parents and players have volunteered to help prepare the field, particularly paying attention to infield maintenence.

"It's just getting the field ready for the season," Fitzpatrick said.
