Storti Quality Names Thomas Kennedy Business Director of LNG and Utility Services

Fort Washington - Storti Quality is proud to announce and welcome Thomas Kennedy as the company’s new business director of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and utility services. Kennedy will lead Storti’s LNG growth initiative and oversee the LNG services portion of the business.

Kennedy has held leadership positions overseeing LNG plants in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York. He has over 22 years’ experience working at natural gas utilities and spent over half that time working in the LNG and quality assurance/quality control areas. Most recently Kennedy led the Avangrid LNG and Liquid Propane (LP) plants overseeing the operations, maintenance, construction/commissioning, compliance and integration efforts.

Kennedy’s LNG experience includes construction close out, starting/commissioning and transitioning into full operations of a new LNG plant. He has worked on over $400 million worth of LNG related projects in the New York and New England regions. Kennedy has commissioned multiple LNG vaporization, liquefaction, pumps and trucking stations.

Kennedy has spent time working with regulatory agencies in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York to ensure LNG plants were safe and code complaint. His top priority is always safety and is extremely proud of the various LNG teams he has led in their achieving first quartile safety performance. Kennedy credits the team efforts where everyone is watching out for each other for this stellar safety performance.

Kennedy holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Connecticut, certificate in executive leadership from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
