
UPPER DUBLIN, PA — A total of 25 local high school graduates have won $2,000 scholarship awards from Dunkin Donuts, the company announced Monday.
The winners are part of the Eighth Annual Dunkin’ Donuts Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program, and were selected from a field of more than 1,600 applicants.
“On behalf of Dunkin’ Donuts, I am honored to award these exceptional students with the 2017 Dunkin’ Donuts Scholarship Award,” said Perry Shah, local Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee and Philadelphia region advertising committee chairman. “This program is very special to us at Dunkin’ Donuts and we are amazed at the incredible nominations we receive year after year. The 25 recipients of this year’s scholarship are truly deserving of this award, and we are so excited to see all of the amazing things these students will be able to accomplish in the future.”

· Alexis Schneider, Dresher, PA, Upper Dublin High School
· Amber Hahn, Collegeville, PA, Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School
· Emily Cheng, Lansdale, PA, Methacton High School
· Jarod Olson, Harleysville, PA, Souderton Area High School
· Kristen Galban, King of Prussia, PA, Upper Merion High School
· Sarika Ram, King of Prussia, PA, Upper Merion Area High School

Students will be honored at an awards event at Talen Energy Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 5. Winners and their families are also invited to attend the Philadelphia Union soccer game which is taking place at the stadium immediately afterwards.
