2 Warminster Nursing Homes Among Nation's Best: U.S. News

WARMINSTER, PA — U.S. News & World Report has released its latest ratings identifying top nursing homes and 11 in Bucks County made the list, including two right here in Warminster. In the 2018-19 ratings, U.S. News evaluated 695 nursing homes in Pennsylvania and thousands across the country.

Eleven Bucks County facilities were named by the publication as “best nursing homes." The homes are given an overall rating as well as a short-stay rehabilitation rating, a new addition to the ratings that are now in their ninth year.

U.S. News explains that the new rehab rating is aimed at providing patients “with a clearer view of the quality of care provided by nursing homes to short-stay patients” who need rehabilitation or nursing services after suffering from an accident or illness.

Overall, 2,975 nursing homes were included in U.S. News’ ratings. More than 15,000 nursing homes nationwide were evaluated to arrive at the list.
