1. Independence National Historic Park

Take a walk though America’s history, and bring your dog along too. The Philadelphia park features Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, and historic buildings from the Congress of 1776. (Pets are welcomed on park grounds, but not in the buildings, unless it is a service animal.)

2. Valley Forge National Historic Park

This historic park in Valley Forge is dedicated to the education and preservation of the Revolutionary War. The park offers a variety of programs and special events, and dogs are allowed on the trails.

3. Brandywine Battle Historic Site

Filled with interpretive exhibits, special events, a visitor center and three different self-guided driving tours, this site gives visitors the chance to explore one of the most famous battles of the Revolutionary War.
