There are plenty of orchards in Bucks County that offer pick-your-own apples. Here are five:

Solebury Orchards, Solebury

It does not get more picturesque than Solebury Orchards. Quaint and simple, the orchard offers a simple, no-frills apple picking experience. Wagon rides are offered out to the orchard. Plus, the orchard store offers cider and donuts. Hours are Thursday to Sunday, 9 am-6 pm.

Snipes Farm, Morrisville

Snipes hosts ”Fall Harvest” weekends. So in addition to picking your own apples, you can check out a corn maze, enjoy face painting and pumpkin painting, as well as pet barnyard animals. The season runs from late September to early November. Hours are Saturday from 9 am-6 pm (last hay ride to orchard leaves at 5 pm) and Sunday 10 am - 5 pm (last hay ride to orchard leaves at 4 pm).

Solly Farm, Ivyland

Solly’s offers pick-your-own apples and pumpkins every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am - 5 pm. Apples available for pick-your-own are Jonathan and Golden Delicious. Plus, the The Scarecrows of American History hayrides will begin on Saturday, Sept. 26 and will run every weekend from 10 am -4 pm.

Styer Orchard, Langhorne

Styer Orchard is a Middletown Township property that has been preserved as a working orchard. Operated by the Field family, Styer Orchard offers Cortland, Empire, Jonathan, Early Delicious, Gala and Red Delicious apples. Hours are 9 am - 5 pm.

Tabora Farm and Orchard, Chalfont

This weekend, Sept. 26 and 27, Tabora Farm and Orchard will host its Apple Festival. From 10 am - 5 pm all apples will be $0.59 a pound. There will be Macintosh, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Cortland, Macoun, Gingergold and Gala available for picking. Plus there will be crafts for the kids, animal feedings, wagon rides and live music.
