Growing up in Warminster, Alex struggled as a young adult. When he relocated to the York, Pa. area, Alex found a new home and his true calling, to help others dealing with some of the same struggles. During the ups and downs, these problems did not get in the way of helping out a friend in need with a hug or some kind thoughtful words. Armed with a great sense of humor, he could instantly make you feel better. He had so much compassion for others, and he truly hurt when you hurt. Now the hurt can’t hurt him any longer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Alex’s memory to Maryland Addiction Recovery Center, 8600 LaSalle Rd., Carroll Bldg. No. 212, Towsen, MD 21286.
