Brad Fox Toys for Tots Hockey Game, Pioneers Playing for Champs

  • The Tri-County Police Slugs are taking on the Philadelphia Police Department in the Brad Fox Toys for Tots Ice Hockey Game at the Bucks County Ice Sports Center, 1185 York Rd., Warminster, on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free. All that is asked is a new unwrapped toy for donation to Unites States marine Corp Toys for Tots. Family skate will follow the game.
  • The Warminster Pioneers 65-pound and 75-pound teams are playing in the Keystone State Football League Championship this weekend at Benjamin Johnson Stadium, Woolston Ave and 1100 E. Sedgwick S, Philadelphia. The 65-pound team plays Willow Grove Saturday at 9:30 a.m., and the 75-pound team plays Sunday at 9 a.m.
  • Uncle Joe Dautcher's Farm on Mearns Rd. is giving back this holiday season. Owner Judy Dautcher is giving 20 percent of Holiday Baskets purchases to Voice and Vision Inc. 
  • Rainy and cloudy for most of the day, according to the National Weather Service. The skies will clear up for the weekend, with temperatures going down to the mid-30s on Sunday.
