The county hit the milestone over the weekend, with Pennsylvania's largest shipment of vaccine yet set to be administered.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Bucks County administered its 100,000th coronavirus vaccination over the weekend, with the state's largest shipment of the vaccine yet ready to deliver to the public.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bucks County had administered 36,057 single doses of vaccine and 32,348 people had received both doses of the two-shot vaccine as of Monday morning. That is a total of 100,753 shots.

"Just like our neighboring counties, Bucks County has been fighting for more doses of the vaccine," the post reads. "We are proud to have administered more than 100,000 doses as of today and can do more when we are given more doses."

After a rocky rollout that manifested across the entire state, the past couple of weeks have seen some promising developments for speedier delivery of the vaccine in Bucks County.
Three public vaccine clinics are open on Bucks County Community College campuses, delivering hundreds of daily vaccinations each. And, last week, Pennsylvania received its largest weekly shipment of vaccine yet from the federal government.
County officials also unveiled a new tool last week that allows you to get an idea of when you'll be scheduled for the coronavirus vaccine, based on when you signed up with the county.
A total of 225,890 doses arrived in the state last week, an increase of some 42,000 over the week before. The state also received a significant increase in second doses last week, as 180,610 doses came in. That's about 40,000 more than the previous.
These doses are separate from the tens of thousands of doses being shipped directly to pharmacies by the federal government.
On that front, CVS announced plans to offer the vaccine at some Pennsylvania locations.
