Bucks Co.'s 3rd Medical Marijuana Dispensary Opens Monday
In Pennsylvania, you must be at least 18 and be diagnosed by a doctor as having a debilitating condition to buy marijuana legally.

BENSALEM, PA — Some Bensalem residents will soon be able to make a run to the store to pick up their marijuana.
Liberty Cannabis, a legal medical marijuana dispensary chain, has announced that its location in Bensalem will open on Monday, Nov. 12. Its location will be across from Neshaminy Mall at 4201 Neshaminy Blvd.
The Bensalem dispensary will be Liberty's third location in Pennsylvania, with existing spots in Philadelphia and Norristown. It also will be the third legal dispensary in Bucks County, joining Beyond Hello in Bristol and Terravista Holistic Centers in Sellersville.

In June, the Pennsylvania Department of Health granted a large round of dispensary permits for medical marijuana.

In Pennsylvania, you must be at least 18 years old, a resident of the state and be diagnosed by a doctor as having a debilitating medical condition to buy cannabis products at Liberty and other legal dispensaries.
After receiving a doctor's recommendation, patients must register with the Pennsylvania Department of Health as a qualifying patient.
Marijuana for medical use in Pennsylvania may be distributed as pills, oils, topical creams or ointments, tinctures and liquids as well as in "dry form" for smoking.
Founded four years ago in Washington D.C., Liberty Cannabis grows, distributes and sells its own marijuana, which the company says lets it guarantee the quality of the product.
The company's Pennsylvania locations also are offering up a Veterans Day deal, increasing its usual 10 percent veterans' discount to 40 percent on Monday.
In recent years, doctors have begun prescribing medical marijuana for a variety of illnesses, from chronic pain, glaucoma, muscle spasms and seizures to helping ease loss of weight and appetite for patients with AIDS, cancer and other diseases.
