Bucks County Classic Cycling Festival Set for Sept. 13 and 14
The two-day cycling festival features a 100-mile course from Doylestown to New Hope.

The third annual Thompson Bucks County Classic, a two-day cycling festival, will be held Sept. 13 and 14.
The opening road race of the weekend, the 100-mile course from Doylestown to New Hope, is one of only seven races in the USA to be sanctioned by the International Cycling Union.
“The grueling road race, with over 6,500 feet of climbing, provides a true ‘Tour de France’ experience for spectators with party zones blanketed throughout the scenic race course,” according to organizers.

This year’s event director is John Eustice, a former United States Professional Cycling Champion.
“It is the perfect race,” said Eustice, a Bucks County native. “The road race design—with its twisting hills, covered bridges, spectator vantage points and picturesque start and finish towns— captures every exciting and admirable aspect of the sport and makes it accessible to spectators. The race in Doylestown has been a smash hit since we began it in 2003 and it just keeps getting better.”
