Centennial Considers Elementary Grading Changes

Three parent forums are scheduled to discuss the proposal, which would move elementary schools to trimesters.

WARMINSTER, PA — Officials in the Centennial School District are considering a change to how often elementary school students get graded and they want your feedback.

Centennials is evaluating its elementary report card system and discussing the possibility of switching to trimesters. That would mean elementary school students would have three marking periods instead of the four they currently have under the quarter system.

Parents are invited to participate in three upcoming forums at which the proposed changes will be discussed. They are:

  • Friday, March 29, 8:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, April 4, 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 10, 6 p.m.

All three forums will be at the district administration building, at 48 Swan Way in Warminster. The same message will be delivered at all three forums, school officials say.
