Centennial Middle School Threats Not Credible: Superintendent

School officials say the online rumors about Log College Middle School and Klinger Middle School were a kids' game that got out of hand.

WARMINSTER, PA — Online threats targeting two Centennial School District middle schools were not credible and the result of a kids' game gone too far, the system's superintendent says.

According to Superintendent David Baugh, Upper Southampton Police investigated the threats, against Log College Middle School and Eugene Klinger Middle School, on Monday evening and found them not to be credible.

"This is a case of really bad judgement starting as a game of whisper down the lane that went extremely sideways," Baugh wrote in a letter to parents at the two Southampton schools. "While we are not certain of the extent of the consequences, we will be addressing the youngsters involved."
