WARMINSTER, PA — David Baugh, the superintendent of the Centennial School District, is a finalist for a similar post in Montana.

Baugh, who has been Centennial's superintendent since 2015, is listed as one of three finalists for the job of superintendent of Missoula County Public Schools, in Missoula, Montana. According to the district's website, Baugh is scheduled to interview with the district's Board of Trustees on Thursday.

Baugh did not immediately return a message Monday seeking comment for this article.

The Missoula district is replacing Superintendent Mark Thane, who will retire at the end of this school year.

Baugh took the top schools post at Centennial after serving as acting superintendent in nearby Neshaminy School District and as superintendent of Bensalem Township schools from 2011-15.

He had previous experience as an administrator and teacher at the elementary, middle, high school and collegiate level. He holds a doctorate in Education Leadership from Seton Hall University, a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master's of humanities from Aberdeen University in Aberdeen, Scotland.
