'Code Blue' Issued, Warminster Church Opened For Shelter

Bucks County has issued a "Code Blue" declaration due to extremely cold temperatures expected through next week.

Bucks County has issued a "Code Blue" declaration due to extremely cold temperatures expected through next week. The Code Blue is in effect through Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

On-call churches will be opened for people who need shelter. The on-call churches are Emmaus Rd. Lutheran Church in Levittown, Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church in Warminster and Quakertown Masonic Lodge. Starting on January 1, 2018, the host church in Lower Bucks will be Woodside Church in Yardley.

The on-call church volunteers will coordinate transportation, temporary shelter, food and other necessities.
