Credit Union Opening Branch In Warminster
The not-for-profit credit union will be located in the Warminster Heights Home Ownership Association.

WARMINSTER, PA — A credit union that aims to support underserved communities is opening a branch in Warminster.
Inspire Federal Credit Union expects to open the branch in October in partnership with the Warminster Heights Home Ownership Association. The full-service branch will be located within the boundaries of the 700-unit housing cooperative.
"The partnership with the Warminster Heights Home Ownership Association and our investment in the community reflects our commitment to provide the residents of Warminster Heights, as well as all residents in the surrounding community, the ability to access financial services and products very easily and affordably," said Jim Merrill, president and CEO of Inspire.

Inspire's mission is to promote economic prosperity and affordable financial products and services throughout Bucks County.
In addition to providing core banking products, Inspire Federal Credit Union will offer financial literacy courses and workshops benefiting the community, according to Merrill.

"Inspire Federal Credit Union will quickly demonstrate to the Warminster community that we will fill the gap that exists in doing business with the larger money center and traditional banks," he said. "We will make opening affordable savings and checking accounts attainable, as well as, offering other services needed to help the community meet all their banking needs."
A grand opening event will be held when the opening date arrives, officials say.
The not-for-profit Inspire Federal Credit Union has been serving Bucks County residents since 1936. Originally chartered to serve teachers and other educators, it has evolved into a full-service financial institution.
Warminster Heights Home Ownership Association is a nonprofit corporation created to provide safe and affordable housing in a cooperative environment. On its roughly 98 acres are 700 housing units, a community center and four retail businesses.
