Duck Donuts Coming To Bucks County

LEVITTOWN, PA —Duck Donuts, the Mechanicsburg-based chain known for its fresh, made-to-order doughnuts, is coming to Bucks County for the first time.

The shop currently is under construction in Langhorne Square Shopping Center, at 1411 Lincoln Hwy., a company spokeswoman said Friday. The store is scheduled to open in summer 2020, she said.

Now headquartered in Mechanicsburg, Duck Donuts was founded in 2006 in Duck, North Carolina by Russ DiGilio and Robin Griffith. Currently, it has 92 locations in 19 states.

The location in Levittown will be the chain's 10th in Pennsylvania, with stores currently in Mechanicsburg, Lancaster, Hershey, Pittsburgh, State College, King of Prussia, Collegeville, West Chester and Allentown.

The Duck Donuts custom-ordering process lets customers choose from a variety of coatings, toppings and drizzles. Its most popular doughnuts include maple icing, chopped bacon, salted caramel drizzle, cinnamon sugar, lemon icing and raspberry drizzle.

It also serves its own signature coffee blends as well as espresso, breakfast sandwiches, doughnut sundaes, milkshakes and frozen beverages.
