Eagles Vs. Redskins Could Be Postponed Due To Joaquin: Report

Hurricane Joaquin could alter NFL schedule for Philadelphia Eagles versus Washington Redskins game Sunday, report says.

Hurricane Joaquin is threatening to bring torrential rain, wind, flooding — and now a potential disruption to Sunday’s football schedule.

CBS Sports reports that NFL officials are currently assessing the storm’s impact on Sunday’s game between the Eagles and Redskins at FedEx Field. Postponing the game is an option, the report says.

The game would likely be made up in Week 8, according to CBS Sports. A decision about whether to cancel the game will reportedly be made by Saturday, when the Eagles are supposed to travel to Washington, D.C.
