The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook in Eastern Pennsylvania due to the chance of weekend snow and wintry mix.

The Hazardous Weather Outlook, which includes Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties as well as the Lehigh Valley, says there is a possibility of light snow on Saturday.

In the Philadelphia area, up to an inch of snow is possible at night and early in the morning. It could result in some slippery conditions as temperatures drop to near freezing, the NWS says. Some sleet and freezing rain could mix in before a changeover to all rain later in the day.

Drivers should use caution. Enough wintry mix could fall across Pennsylvania to quickly coat elevated surfaces and lead to isolated slick spots, according to AccuWeather.
