No Warminster Ruling On Rainy Halloween: Township

Forecasters are calling for a 100% chance of rain Thursday night, with a chance of a thunderstorm.

WARMINSTER, PA — Warminster residents looking for guidance on how to approach a potentially soggy Halloween won't be getting any from the township itself.

On Tuesday, Warminster Township Manager Gregg Schuster posted on Facebook that his office has received multiple questions about whether trick-or-treating in the township would be postponed due to thunderstorms in the forecast.

But Warminster, Schuster said, is not in the Halloween-regulating business.

"The township doesn't set times for trick or treating," he wrote. "We also do not postpone it due to weather unless there is some emergency."
