Viola C. Dougherty, a 78-year resident of Warminster and Hatboro, died Monday, February 25, 2019; she was 101.

Viola was the loving wife of the late Edward Dougherty, Sr., with whom she had shared 47 years of marriage. She was a member of the Hatboro Baptist Church and former friend of Warminster and Ivyland Presbyterian Churches.

She is survived, by her son Edward Dougherty, Jr. (Nancy), her daughter Jean Sheldon and her son-in-law Richard Young; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by her daughter Viola Young. Her family will receive relatives and friends after 10 a.m., Saturday, March 2, in the James R. Baskwill Funeral Home, 20 W Montgomery Ave (half block west of York Rd), Hatboro, where her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.

Her interment will follow in Hatboro Cemetery.
