New Tool Shows Where You Are In Bucks Co. Vaccine Line
Residents who signed up to get a COVID-19 vaccine from Bucks County now have a way to estimate where they are in line.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Residents who signed up to get a COVID-19 vaccine from Bucks County now have a way to check where they are in line.
On Wednesday, the county unveiled a new tool on its online coronavirus portal. It shows which registration day the county is currently working on. If you remember, or have email notification showing when you registered, it will give you an estimate of where you are in line.
Thursday morning, the tool showed that people who registered for a vaccination on Jan. 15 are currently being scheduled for vaccines at one of the county's three public vaccine clinics. That is just the second day that registration was possible, but it also was the second-busiest, with 11,051 people registering that day, according to the tool.

Currently, people eligible under Phase 1A of Pennsylvania's vaccination plan are getting the shots. That includes healthcare workers, people older than 65 and anyone older than 16 with a medical condition that puts them at high risk of serious illness or death from the virus.
As of Wednesday, more than 3,000 people had been vaccinated at the three county clinics, on Bucks County Community College campuses in Bristol, Newtown and Perkasie. But, after a slow rollout, more vaccination options have come online in recent days.
Bucks County hospitals, including St. Mary Medical Center and Lower Bucks Hospital, have opened vaccination clinics for their patients and, Wednesday, CVS announced it would be giving vaccinations at its pharmacies in Pennsylvania.
In Bucks County, nearly 90,000 doses of the vaccine had been administered by the end of the day Wednesday — the fourth-most among Pennsylvania counties — according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health. A total of 36,579 people had gotten a single dose and 26,430 had gotten both to the vaccine's two doses.
A ramp-up in vaccinations comes as new coronavirus cases are on the decline in Bucks County. The state health department reported 172 new cases on Tuesday, bringing Bucks County's seven-day average to 143 cases per day.
Last week, Bucks County reported a 32-percent decrease in newly reported COVID cases and the lowest daily case average since November.
Nine new deaths from the coronavirus were reported over the past two days, bringing Bucks County's death toll for February to 71 and to 1,128 since the pandemic began.
