Snow, Sleet And Closures As Warminster Braces For More
On Monday, snow blanketed the Warminster area, with forecasters saying yet another half-foot of snow may be on the way.

WARMINSTER, PA — Schools and government buildings were closed in and around Warminster on Monday, as local officials responded after the first day of a winter storm blanketed the region with snow.
Meanwhile, authorities were urging residents to stay off of roadways that had become slick with ice. William McCauley, Warminster's interim township manager, declared a snow emergency, directing the township's departments to coordinate a response to the storm.
Just before 10 a.m. Monday, Bucks County's emergency management team was reporting 119 calls to 911 and 18 traffic accidents since the storm began, with four of them involving injuries and one entrapment.

Shortly after 9 a.m., the National Weather Service was reporting that 4.5 inches of snow had fallen in Bensalem and 4 inches had fallen in Doylestown. Across the Delaware, 6.5 inches of snow were recorded in Ewing Township, N.J.
Meanwhile, the weather service was forecasting another heavy band of snow Monday, with Warminster in an area predicted to get another 5-9 inches of snow.

Centennial School District canceled in-person classes Monday, making it a 100-percent remote school day with all schools and district office buildings closed.
At 11:30 a.m. Monday, PECO was reporting no significant power outages in Warminster. Emergency managers in the area said they were keeping an eye out for more outages as snow caused limbs and other debris to fall.
