Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) is proud to participate in Penn Community Bank’s new “Click for a Cause” program, a social media and online community giving contest that invites the public to vote for a nonprofit to receive donations from the bank.
Three nonprofits, including NOVA, will participate in the contest. Each organization will receive a donation after the contest ends; the first-place winner will receive $15,000, second place will receive $10,000, and third place will receive $5,000.
“We are honored to be included in Click for a Cause with these other wonderful organizations,” commented Angela McGettigan, NOVA’s Director of Community Relations and Development. “We encourage our supporters, volunteers, business partners and other friends to go online to vote for us. This is a great way to involve the greater Bucks County community in philanthropy.”
“The Click for a Cause grant would be enormously helpful for NOVA to help further its mission of supporting, counseling and empowering victims of sexual assault and other serious crimes in Bucks County,” said Penny Ettinger, Executive Director, NOVA. “Grant funds would be put to use in support of our advocacy, training, community education and prevention programs throughout Bucks County.”
“Being a true community partner is an important part of our mission. For years, we’ve supported local groups and nonprofits committed to making a difference in the areas we serve, and now we’re inviting community members to help guide our giving,” said Jeane M. Vidoni, President & CEO of Penn Community Bank. “We’re excited to lift up and amplify the voices of NOVA, Bucks County SPCA and Livengrin Foundation through Click for a Cause.”
Click for a Cause opens June 14 and runs through July 23. The public can vote on the Penn Community Bank website at www.penncommunitybank.com or by commenting on Penn Community Bank’s Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/PennCommunityBank/) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/penncommunitybank/) posts about the contest. People can vote one time per day by each method, for a total of three daily votes.
