Tell us about your business and its history in your town.

For over 25 years, we’ve been proud to serve the Bucks County and tri-state areas with affordable and high quality eye care products and services. We are happy to take all major vision insurance carriers.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?

Wohl is a veteran-owned, small local business. Not being able to sell eyewear and contacts has taken our sales down to zero dollars. We also are an optical lens lab but that business is also down to zero dollars. We would cut and finish lenses for other opticians and optometrists in the area.

How can local customers support you now and in the future?

Use Wohl Optics rather than the big box chains, as this Navy veteran depends on this business as his total source of income.

Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?

We're all in this together. My patients are my neighbors and friends. I care for them as extended family. Patients are not just a number to me. I am 100 percent committed to this business and patients.

When everything in your life seems to be out of control, it’s important to focus your mind and efforts on the things that are within your control. There are somethings you can do, such as cleaning your hands, social distancing and keeping loved ones safe.

Looking out for your neighbors, family, friends and coworkers can also provide some relief. Supporting others can give us a sense of purpose, and right now we need to support each other more than ever before.

Are you offering any special services, promotions or hours during this time?

For all healthcare providers and first responders who need immediate service, please reach me at doug@wohloptics.com and you will be given priority service. If you are in need of additional contact lens supplies to hold you over until your next appointment, we are happy to assist you so you do not run out.

All eyeglasses and contact lens boxes will be sanitized before given to you prior to your pickup. Damaged eyewear needs to be put in a ziplock bag for drop off. For all emergencies contact me via email at doug@wohloptics.com.
