Warminster Businesses Dealing With Coronavirus Closings
Gyms, restaurants, coffee shops, and other retailers in Warminster have shut their doors due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
WARMINSTER, PA — Gyms, restaurants, coffee shops, and other retailers in Warminster have shut their doors as state officials have implemented strict actions to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19.
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf on Sunday ordered all restaurants and bars in Allegheny, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties to close their dine-in facilities as of Monday.

Additionally, all non-essential retail businesses in Bucks County have been told to close. This includes gyms, theaters, malls, salons, entertainment venues, and community centers. Essential retail, like pharmacies, grocery stores, gas stations, and healthcare facilities, will remain open.
The closure of non-essential businesses became a statewide mandate Monday afternoon.

"In support of Gov. Tom Wolf, we are temporarily suspending service," Chef Augusto Jalon, owner of Augusto's restaurant, on Madison Avenue, said Monday morning on Facebook. "Our hope is that, as a community, we can flatten the curve of the coronavirus through smart action. We will re-open our doors as soon as possible. Please take care of yourself so that you can take care of the ones you love."
"It's official now. Governor Wolf says we have to close," Joyce Rankin-Bullard, of Bullard's American Cafe on York Road posted on Sunday. "I'll be spending tomorrow making sure everything is clean and nothing is left to chance. I'll also be assessing whether it makes sense to be open just for takeout, which we can do. "In the meantime, be safe and kind to others. It is always our pleasure to serve you and we look forward to doing it again soon."
Planet Fitness, on Street Road, announced that it, like other gyms in the are, would be closing its doors.
"We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will reopen as soon as permitted," read the gym's Facebook page.
Meanwhile, nearby Willow Grove Park Mall had been shut down since last week.
"The health and well-being of our shopper and tenant community is our top priority," the mall posted. "With that in mind, we have made the difficult decision to heed the recommendation of state officials by closing Willow Grove Park Mall."
