Warminster Ice Cream Parlor Named Best In PA

WARMINSTER, PA — It's definitely still ice cream season in Pennsylvania. And, in Warminster, those in the market for a frozen treat can get one at a parlor that's been named the best in the state.

USA Today has put together a state-by-state list of the best ice cream parlors in America. And, in Pennsylvania, Uncle Mike's Homemade Ice Cream, in Warminster, got the nod.

"Sundaes, milkshakes, floats, ice cream pies, and cookie ice cream sandwiches are all on offer at this ice cream parlor in a Bucks County community north of Philadelphia," USA Today writes. "Among the two dozen flavors on the menu are Coffee Caramel Crunch, Rummy Raisin, Dandy Cotton Candy, Really Raspberry Chocolate Chip, and Tom's Peanut Butter Brownie Blitz."

On its Facebook page, Uncle Mike's thanked their customers in the wake of the accolade.

"We are humbled and proud of this unexpected honor and wish to thank our loyal customers for their fabulous Yelp reviews of our shop," the post reads.

USA Today's list was compiled based on Yelp reviews.

The post, from Sunday, said the shop had been slammed as a result of the honor and was running out of ice cream flavors.
