Warminster To Pave Nearly 23 Miles Of Road In 2021
In all, 61 different roads will get work in Warminster as part of the township's paving project. See which ones here.
WARMINSTER, PA — Warminster Township will pave nearly 23 miles of roadway on 61 different roads as part of its 2021 road paving project.
The majority of the work will be done on the west side of the township, including on roads near where paving was done in 2020. This year's plans are a dramatic increase over last year, when 3.5 miles of roadway on 15 roads was repaved.
Last month, Warminster's Board of Supervisors accepted a roughly $3.7 million bid to do this year's repaving. A list of the roads that are scheduled to be paved in 2021 can be found here.

Funding for the paving largely is coming from a bond recently issued by supervisors at what they say is a historically low interest rate. Other funding comes from the township's liquid fuels fund and the Warminster Municipal Authority.
The WMA is required by law to pave half of the township highways they excavate for water and sewer main improvements. The authority provides the cost of paving one lane of the road and the township matches that so the entire road can be repaved.
