Warminster Police Warn Of Car Break-Ins

WARMINSTER, PA — Police in Warminster are reminding residents to lock their cars after a recent report of a team looking for a "crime of opportunity."

Police shared a post from a resident who said a two-person team was seen in the early-morning hours this week, pulling on vehicle doors to see if they were unlocked. The resident also shared a security-camera image of one of the men.

According to the post, the theft attempts happened on Tulip Road at around 1:20 a.m. One neighbor had valuables stolen from an unlocked car and, according to the post, police confirmed that at least two other thefts from vehicles were reported in the area.

In their own post, Warminster Police said that warmer weather can bring out criminals trying to get inside unlocked vehicles. They urged residents to bring valuables inside and always lock their vehicles.

They urged anyone who has information in the thefts to call 215-672-1000.
