Warminster Road-Paving Program To Begin Soon

WARMINSTER, PA — Paving season is about to begin in Warminster, with a dozen roadways scheduled for work beginning in the next couple of weeks.

Township officials on Monday said paving is expected to begin around May 13, although preliminary milling work and work installing new curb ramps is beginning before then. In all, about 3.5 miles of road will be paved and 18 curb ramps compliant with the Americans With Disabilities Act will be installed.

Once milling work is completed, Warminster public works crews will be pouring more than 5,200 tons of asphalt, public works Director Eric Hinz said in a letter to residents.

This year's work is scheduled in a neighborhood that is heavily populated, including by families with children.

Work will be performed during daytime hours between 7 a.m.-6 p.m., typically on Monday through Friday. Some Saturday work may be permitted, but there will be no work on Sundays or holidays, officials said.

In a letter to contractors, Hinz said the 7 a.m. start time will be strictly enforced, that no vehicles may idle in the neighborhood before 7 a.m. and that no yelling or loud music is permitted.

• Bethany Circle, from Davisville Road to the cul de sac
• Winchester Road, from Concord Road to Lexington Road
• Concord Road, from Lowell Road to the end
• Lexington Road, from Lowell Road to the end
• Sweetbriar Drive, from Davisville Road to Lilly Road
• Lilac Lane, from Buttercup Drive to Davisville Road
• Buttercup Drive, from Sweetbriar Drive to the end
• Blossom Road, from Sweetbriar Drive to Davisville Road
• Honeysuckle Road, from Sweetbriar Drive to Blossom Road
• Bluebell Road, from Sweetbriar Drive to Davisville Road
• Henry Avenue, from County Line Road to Fairfield Drive
