William Tennant Grad Dies At 26 After Battle With Addiction

"Rachel, you were our special soul who fought a difficult battle," the family of the 2010 William Tennant grad writes in her obituary.

With profound sadness, the family of Rachel Ann Kohler mourns her passing on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at the age of 26 years after fighting a long battle with addiction.

Rachel graduated from William Tennant High School in 2010 where she participated on the volley ball and soft ball teams. She was a free spirit who was her happiest when making beautiful jewelry, decorating, working on arts and crafts, fashion designing, listening to music, playing pool where she excelled, and collecting her mermaids.

Rachel will be lovingly remembered by her parents William E. Kohler Jr. and Beth Ann Lazinski; step-mothers, Liz Collins and Lisa Bambrick; step-sisters, Michele and Katie Ross and Sarah Bunimovich; aunts and uncle, Susan Medina, Debbie Kohler (deceased), and Richard Rumpf; cousin, Zachary Medina; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Joanne Lazinski and paternal grandparents, Joan Kohler (deceased) and William E. Kohler Sr. (deceased)

A Memorial Service in memory of Rachel will be celebrated on Saturday, August 18th, at 10 am at the Hatboro Community Church. Following the service, a light reception will be served. The family requests that your condolences be brief or given after the service at the reception.
